Weirdly enough, I wear an army jacket (from an army suplus stall) that comes down to my knees and my boots might count as platforms because the soles are two inches thick - in my defence, I'm only 5ft tall so anything that makes me look taller is helpful. So maybe my style is kind of 70s anyway? I never knew the oversized army jacket trend originated then, I thought it first cropped up about half a year after I started wearing mine which was highly irritating for me. It's not easy being a trendsetter! Wow, I thought it was bad that I have to catch 4 buses a day to get to and from college! At least I only have to leave the house at 8:10am. Then again, when I lived in Irongray, I had to get up at 5:45am and travel into Dumfries with my step-dad and brother at 6:30am. I'd arrive at 7am and then I'd just have to hang around until I could get the bus to college. I wasn't getting my EMA then either so I'd have to beg my step-dad for some extra money to buy a pasty from Greggs (I'd sit outside for half an hour and go in as soon as they opened) because September mornings are cold and unforgiving. I can sympathise with Barbara's early morning starts. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12688575236166949747noreply@blogger.com
