My mum is her Japanese teacher so I went along to the Japanese Embassy with my mum and Mia's family. She is lovely and sweet, and has sent me and my family many incredible presents since then. I wish that there were more people in this world like Mia.Rosienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7627535531432337588.post-11994598525277996062014-05-12T00:16:06.180+01:002014-05-12T00:16:06.180+01:00Ooops! It's still by Naomi Hirahara though! ♥Hazel Fellhttp://hazelsbooks.blogspot.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7627535531432337588.post-9880085930020513892014-05-12T00:00:18.146+01:002014-05-12T00:00:18.146+01:00I've just started reading a great book called ...I've just started reading a great book called 1001 Paper Cranes by Naomi Hirahara. I know this article was posted ages ago, but the book made me think of this, and I wanted to let people know. It's a really good book- and if you're interested in this kind of stuff (like me!), you might like it. :) ♥Hazel Fellhttp://hazelsbooks.blogspot.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7627535531432337588.post-60414525338497059552014-04-28T15:54:02.499+01:002014-04-28T15:54:02.499+01:00I'm going to ask if we can do it at school and...I'm going to ask if we can do it at school and send some to Japan. And most people would've given up on the challenge when they ran out of paper so it's awesome that she didn't. High five, Miako! I fully intend to learn to make origami cranes. It will make a nice change from the flowers and frogs. I was once able to make a cat and an owl that looked more like a penguin but I've never attempted a crane before.<br />Blue :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7627535531432337588.post-22407481097734084222014-04-27T16:56:12.567+01:002014-04-27T16:56:12.567+01:00It's such an inspirational story!
